The Helitune Groundstation - Rotortuner Vision

Using the Helitune RT&B equipment to reduce the vibration on Helicopters or Turbo Prop Aircrafts is one part of the job that flight engineers are responsible for. Using the collected data, analysing, manipulating and storing them is part of the job as well. For that reason Helitune has designed together with different users the Helitune RT Vision Groundstation.

The idea behind this software is to be able to have access to the collected data, to monitor the trend of different aircraft, components or the whole fleet, to be prepared for the next maintenance event, and to compare the last collected data with the newly acquired. This powerful tool can be used on a standalone PC, on a laptop and on a LAN/WAN system.

Depending on the requirements of the operator and the geographic location where maintenance is carried out or where the data are collected, the responsible department / engineer should be able to view, analyse and trend the data. This is of high interest for safety and cost reasons.

By viewing and analysing the data, a change of the operation profile can be recommended, maintenance actions can be scheduled in where it fits perfect to scheduled maintenance, components with an abnormal characteristic can be monitored to decide the next steps. Different functionalities and different ways to operate this powerful tool assist the operators to make the right choice of using or not using individual aircraft for special missions. Using LAN/WAN assists the decision makers to have real-time data and clear status of availability of his fleet.

The feedback that we have received from operators using the Helitune RT Vision has demonstrated to us that it was the correct decision to develop RT Vision. The reason for its success with customers is because it has been developed using information and requirement specifications provided by Helitune customers. It is part of Helitunes ongoing improvement program to further develop RT Vision together with and for the customer.
