Jens Hartmann started his career in aviation in 1980 with the German Air Force on F-104, Tornado, Bell UH-1 D and C-160.

In 1986 he started working for Dornier on UH-1D before joining LTU-Sued, a German charter airline, in 1988. Within LTU he was working in different departments such as engineering and maintenance. In 1997 he took over Management responsibility for Material and Logistics covering a fleet of 28 aircraft for line and base maintenance as well as third party work.

In January 2001 he changed to Fairchild-Dornier, to lead the Customer Support Material department. He was responsible for over 700 aircraft in service world-wide. Together with his team a new material support concept was developed for the new Dornier 728JET aircraft together with Lufthansa, the launch customer for the new 728 JET. Two years later Jens started together with three partners and a well established Consulting Company his own business in Aviation Consulting.

April 2003 Helitune GmbH was opened with Jens as the General Manager. Together with his experienced team Helitune GmbH is responsible to cover the German and European market, especially the German Armed Forces. In 2004 Jens assumed additional responsibility. As Director of Marketing & Sales he and his team develop new concepts to guarantee more customer satifaction.
