B. Applicability
Applicable to all Rotortuner Dash-5 and Rotortuner Dash-5JS systems. All modification standards and Firmware Versions are effected.
C. Changes / Reason
Many of the consumables and components used in the manufacture of the RT Dash-5 Console and Data Management Unit are now obsolete. More components are added to the list on a regular basis. For this reason it is no longer possible for Helitune to manufacture new RT Dash-5 systems. As a consequence all versions of the RT Dash-5 are now declared obsolete.
D. Support / Service
Helitune intend to provide support in the form of service and calibration for both systems until the end of 2008. Support for system repairs is entirely dependant upon spares availability and may be subject to protracted lead times and significant cost increases.
E. Compliance / Actions
No immediate action is required.
Customers are advised that upgrade paths exists to either Rotortuner JS+ or to Rotortuner 2000 systems. Technical data is available from the Helitune web-site, pricing information is available upon request.
F. Quality
No quality issues are affected. All relevant Helitune documentation has been amended.
G. Approval
The technical data in this Service Bulletin has been approved by Helitune Limited and authorised for issue: Customer Support
