When the RT5 JS+ goes from the screen in which it prompts “Confirm Data Card Loaded” and F1 is pressed to confirm that a Data Card is loaded, the software does not load the card and therefore returns the error “Error – Card Block Full”. This occurrence is being addressed and a software update will be issued with the next Firmware Version.

A. Effectivity
Rotortuner 5 JS+ Firmware 21.8.0.
B. Reason for Issue
Reports have been received that the error “Error – Card Block Full” message appears when creating Test Cards.
C. Description
When the RT5 JS+ goes from the screen in which it prompts “Confirm Data Card Loaded” and F1 is pressed to confirm that a Data Card is loaded, the software does not load the card and therefore returns the error “Error – Card Block Full”. This occurrence is being addressed and a software update will be issued with the next Firmware Version.
D. Suggested Preventative Action
There are two methods that will allow the Data Card to be recognised:
1. Insert the Data Card prior to the “Confirm Data Card” loaded screen, ideally whilst still at the “Executive Menu”. This will ensure that the Data Card is loaded and recognised correctly.
2. If the error “Confirm Data Card Loaded” has already occurred then, leaving the Data Card inserted, return to the executive menu and repeat the “Create Test Card” process. This method works as the action of returning to the Executive Menu will load the Data Card correctly.
