10 Bit Technology Camera

Improvements from 1 Bit to 10 Bit

The original 1 Bit camera has proved to be an extremely powerful tool providing the customer with the ability to track rotors at the tip.

As CCD technology has advanced Helitune have incorporated this in to the new camera. This added functionality has allowed the integration of 10 bit technology. The main enhancements between the 1 Bit and 10 Bit version cameras are:

  • more powerful tip detecting algorithm

  • ability to track in adverse light conditions

  • minimises “blue sky” tracking issues

  • improved resistance to ingress, temperature, shock and vibration

  • 30% increase in measurement resolution

  • lighter and easier to use

  • faster track acquisition
