Key individuals are asked again to present a paper at this year’s event. This provides an opportunity to showcase any recent advances or developments to a specialist audience. The event will this year be hosted at Viterbo in Italy. Viterbo is a beautiful Spa town approximately 60 miles north of Rome.
Not only an obvious choice for the renowned Italian amenities and hospitality Viterbo is also the location of one of the major helicopter maintenance bases of the Italian Army Aviation (AVES). Being home to several helicopter types such as the CH-47 and the newly introduced NH-90 we are fortunate to be able to spend a day exploring this specialist maintenance centre.
