Electrical & Electronic Engineering Apprentice

Electrical & Electronic Engineering Apprentice - Full-time

Due to sustained growth of the business, the Company is seeking to recruit an Electrical & Electronic Engineering Apprentice.

The role will involve rotating around various, different areas within Operations Department, including Production, Test, Logistics and Procurement, to gain the skills and experience necessary for their development, and to be able to support the needs of the Company.

Key Objectives:

  • To gain the skills and experience necessary to support the Operations Department
  • To comply with safe working practices and in strict accordance with Health and Safety guidelines
  • To complete the required National Vocational Qualification (or equivalent) and identified further education course(s), within the agreed timescales. 

Main Responsibilities:

The Electrical & Electronic Engineering Apprentice will work closely with all employees, including engineers and managers, to gain the skills and experience required to-

  • Assemble products in accordance with the documentation and drawings supplied, ensuring the best build quality and completing work within agreed timescales
  • Test, diagnose and rectify faults in production equipment
  • Operate in accordance with the procedures documented in the Company Quality System and, providing documentation to the Quality Manager as required
  • Comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy, abiding by the regulations and recommendations of the appropriate advisory body;
  • Ensure that proper care is taken of all Company tools, resources and equipment
  • Keep immediate work area, and the production area, clean, safe and tidy
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation throughout products and processes within the Company;
  • Maintain personal Continual Professional Development (CPD)
  • Provide support to other departments and customers, both internally and externally;
  • Undertake other duties, as required, to meet the needs of the Company. 


Must Have:

  • English, Maths & Science GCSEs at level 5 (B grade) or above


  • Driving Licence
