3rd South African Helitune Conference

24 / 11 / 2015

Customers, Operators and Specialists joined Helitune at the Emperors Palace Convention Center in Johannesburg for the 3rd South African Helitune Conference.

The conference, run by Helitune and the Safomar Holdings Group, Helitune’s long-standing partner in South Africa, was attended by many operators and specialists from South Africa and the surrounding areas, including the South African Air Force, Armscor, Denel Aviation and Starlite Aviation.

Presentations were provided by Denel, Safomar and Helitune regarding all the latest products and developments, as well as the huge success of Helitune’s Minimum Flight Routine algorithm in South Africa. The MFR algorithm enables the operator to solve for multiple flight conditions simultaneously using multiple adjustments, which has significantly reduced number of flights required for Rotor Track and Balance and also shown a reduction in rotor blade maintenance.

Safomar Aviation, part of the Safomar Group and Helitune's distributor in South Africa for more than 25 years, continues to offer comprehensive support for the Rotortuner product range within South Africa and surrounding countries and have helped our ‘Rotortuner’ equipment become one of the most renowned products for Rotor Track and Balance on rotary wing aircraft within this territory.

Helitune would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved, for their contribution and assistance in making the event such a success.
