Helitune Engineering apprentices win student awards

Helitune apprentices recognized at college prize giving ceremony for outstanding individual achievements.

Helitune are pleased to announce that three of our employees have received awards at the Petroc Business, Manufacturing and Transport prize giving evening, on 19th March 2014.

The ceremony recognised the achievements of the students, both academically and personally, on the college’s business, computing, engineering and motor vehicle courses. Prizes were awarded in each area for best student, most improved student and outstanding student.

Within the Engineering category, prizes were awarded to Craig Barrett for Student of the Year (ONC Year 1) and Tom Josling for Student of the Year (HNC Year 1). Sam Fishwick was awarded the Arthur Sparks Memorial Cup for Student of the Year (HNC Year 2).

Craig is currently employed with maintenance and servicing activities in support of the UK MOD Rotortuner support contract, Tom works in the Rotortuner Test Department servicing and maintaining Rotortuner equipment from around the world and Sam is now employed within the Production Engineering Department.

Helitune congratulate all three on their achievements and wish them well on their future careers within Helitune and the CMG group of companies.
